I fell into the earth
Just for a quick second
And back for what its worth
Just because you beckoned
The things I saw were real
More real than I've known
The things I couldn't feel
All underneath the stone
I saw crystals of metal
And fire like the sun
Seas that never settle
Violent red they spun
I walked on rigid gems
And swam through the fire
Viewing who I am
On top the tall rock spires
But now I've returned
And here we are again
Standing cold and burned
You watching here and then

Redblue in Mind
Shadows sleep within the pathways of my mind
As my iris falls flat on the surface of my head
Blurring names with faces in the darkness behind
Trying to spin back to the place it was bred
Red and blue lights flood my deepest thoughts
Repainting the shadowed past that never moves
Each color transforms the memory I fought
Sketching familiar shades that briefly soothe
My twisting paths bend in ways often deceived
And to things created in a backward cognition
The quick nerves chase but never perceive
Their lights sifted through a winding submission
The synapse web holds everything I know
Retelling each name a thousand times
Repainting the world with a red and blue glow
And rebirthing old faces falsely defined
As my iris falls flat on the surface of my head
Blurring names with faces in the darkness behind
Trying to spin back to the place it was bred
Red and blue lights flood my deepest thoughts
Repainting the shadowed past that never moves
Each color transforms the memory I fought
Sketching familiar shades that briefly soothe
My twisting paths bend in ways often deceived
And to things created in a backward cognition
The quick nerves chase but never perceive
Their lights sifted through a winding submission
The synapse web holds everything I know
Retelling each name a thousand times
Repainting the world with a red and blue glow
And rebirthing old faces falsely defined
